Honoring Christopher's Legacy: A Mission of Hope

When Christopher Newtown left us at the age of 15, he left behind more than just memories—he left a purpose. A purpose to raise awareness about the silent battles many of our youth face and to remind them: It’s okay to not be okay.

Through the Christopher Newtown Memorial Foundation, we’re working to shed light on mental health challenges and create opportunities for young people to build supportive peer-to-peer and peer-to-adult relationships.

Together, we can help others find the strength to seek help when they need it most.

Our Causes

Youth Support & Peer Connections

Through partnerships with schools and community programs, we provide opportunities for youth to build supportive peer-to-peer and peer-to-adult relationships, offering a safe space to express themselves and find help.

Suicide Prevention & Awareness

We work to raise awareness about mental health challenges, break the stigma around seeking help, and educate others on the importance of suicide prevention.

Community Engagement & Events

From our annual charity golf tournament to community-driven events, we engage with local organizations to bring people together, raise funds, and foster connections that support youth and families in need.

After one of our events with Cory Greenwood we received this heartfelt letter from a student who attended the event, we wanted to share their letter with all of you:

"Hello! I just wanted to say that Cory Greenwood is absolutely incredible. I have seen him talk at Dolgeville Central School in the auditorium and I loved that he would start off with music and then he would tell funny jokes and stuff and then get to the serious stuff. I cried the first time Cory gave his speech at the school because of how amazing it all was and motivational it all was. It usually takes a lot to make me cry and this was very impressive. I wanted to thank you Cory for coming to Dolgeville Central School to talk with all of us. I will never forget you"
